At the 2024 International Engineering Congress in Taizhou, China, President Kazawadi Papias Dedeki of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO) delivered a distinguished keynote address, emphasizing the theme, "Sustainable Engineering for a Better Future," and the subtheme, "Engineering Innovation: Cooperation for Mutual Benefits." In his remarks, President Kazawadi expressed his appreciation for the global gathering, highlighting the importance of collective action in addressing the complex engineering challenges of our time. Citing the words of Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, he underscored the critical role of partnerships in achieving sustainable development, noting that no nation or organization can reach these goals in isolation. Instead, progress is driven by cooperation that leverages the strengths and resources of all stakeholders.
